Congratulations goes to Bill Horner, Alice Wu, Shaun Wang, Paul Talbot and Paul O’Shea on becoming the first in Queensland to achieve their internationally recognized Snooker & Billiards coaching credentials as WPBSA Certified Level 1 Coaches under the new initiative by the ABSC.
The ABSC Board has decided to adopt the multi-tiered WPBSA International Coaching Program as the standard qualification (over time) for coaches in Australia. To kick-start this initiative the WPBSA offered Australia a number of free places on the Level 1 Course. This will bring Coaching in all States into line under the ABSC, with an international standard to adhere to.
The ABSC will be arranging further certification sessions for anyone interested in formalising their coaching credentials under the WPBSA International Coaching Program. Details will be provided as they become available.
